  2. WALK-IN’s -- weekdays -- no appointment necessary (7:30 a.m. until 4 p.m. Monday thru Friday) for your free personalized assessment and evaluation. During your visit, one of our insurance specialists will review your insurance coverage and qualification criteria so you will know, before you leave, how much it will cost, the time involved as well as the complete approval process, as well as receive your access code to our online seminar, Emmi™ (Click here to register).
  3. Attend a FREE surgeon-led informational seminar. The Baptist Metabolic Surgery Center offers three each month. (Click here to link to our seminar schedule). Our seminars cover lap-band, gastric bypass, sleeve gastrectomy and duodenal switch procedures. There is no cost to attend! If you do attend a live seminar, please bring your insurance card with you, so we may verify benefits and coverage criteria for bariatric surgery.

Our Center is unique, in that we have eliminated much of the guesswork and time. We are the ONLY Center in the area offering this very simple process. Other Centers require 6-8 steps, instead of just 1 or 2.

Emmi™ Online Seminar

The Baptist Metabolic Surgery Center is proud to offer our patients the convenience and choice of viewing an online seminar via Emmi™. Emmi™ speaks in plain language and uses clear graphics; answers common questions; and allows patients to ask their doctor questions as they come to mind.

The result? Patients are better prepared to care for themselves before and after surgery. Their families understand what’s involved and how they can provide support. Emmi™ is an Internet-based, multimedia program that gives you a very clear sense of what to expect before, during and after your surgery. It will answer many of the common questions that you may have and you can type in other questions specifically for your doctor. You may view Emmi™ at your pace, learn about the condition and procedure and ask the right questions. You may also view Emmi™ with friends, family and those who will be supporting you during your surgery.

To view an online seminar via Emmi™, simply call our office at (615) 284-2400 or register via email, click here to register. We will need your name, address, phone number, date of birth and email address to schedule your Emmi™. We will then provide you with a user specific log on code to view Emmi™. After viewing Emmi™, if you are interested in pursuing surgery, simply call 615.284.2400.
